When Megan’s dad tells her not to let the pigs out of their pen, curiosity gets the better of her. Why not? Pigs are too dumb to do anything anyway … or are they?
“She opened the gate a little. The pigs didn’t do anything. Megan yelled, ‘Hey, you dumb pigs!’ The pigs jumped up—wap, wap, wap!—and ran out the gate. ‘Uh-oh,’ she said.”
Before she knows it, the pigs are wreaking havoc all over her house, all over her school, and all over town. It’s up to her to fgure out how to get them back home. To Megan’s surprise, she discovers the animals are much smarter than she realized.
