The Runaway Bunny

Little Bunny tells his mother how he will run away, but each time her loving response reassures how she will always be there for him. 

“‘If you run away,’ said his mother,’ I will run after you.
For you are my little bunny.’

"‘If you run after me,’ said the little bunny,
‘I will become a fish in a trout stream
and I will swim away from you.’”

In this imaginary game of hide-and seek, the little bunny keeps running away from his mother; and time and again, she follows.  

By the creators of the bedtime classic Goodnight Moon, this children’s book has also become a classic.
